Hey there! I am a Software Engineer at Google, in the Search division, working on improving AI Search (AI Overviews / AI Mode). I recently graduated with a Master of Computer Science degree from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University where I was advised by Prof. Gustavo Stolovitzky for my Master’s Thesis on proposing a novel calibration method to benchmark clinical AI tools under distribution shift. I was also fortunate to work with Prof. Eunsol Choi at CILVR Lab on mechansitic interpretability of attention heads in transformer-based LLMs. Previously, I was a Visiting Research Fellow at CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad, advised by Prof. C.V. Jawahar and Prof. Anand Mishra where I advanced document intelligence through AI-generated lecture slides (ICDAR 2025). I received my undergraduate degree from SVNIT, Surat and interned at Wells Fargo working in the Technology Innovation team.

My current interest areas are in AI Safety and Alignment, Multimodal Reasoning, and AI for Research & Scientific Discovery.

In the extra-curicullar realm, I’m a former competitive swimmer representing the state of Gujarat in four All-India Swimming National Championships. I have served as Chapter Head of the ACM Student Chapter at NIT Surat, and was an editor for its official publication club, Renesa. These days I am into running and hiking in-and-around the SF Bay Area.
